Carrie Casey
Carrie Casey is the Owner/Operator of Cherokee Herb Shop. She was born and raised in Arlington, Virginia. She is the youngest of five children. Carrie studied Industrial Forestry at Virginia Tech and received her Bachelor of Science degree in Forestry and Wildlife in 1978. After college, she moved to Rome, Georgia where she was employed as a Forester by Inland container for 15 years. A family illness lead her to start studying herbs and in 1994, she opened the Cherokee Herb Shop. She has studied many healing modalities including Reflexology, Reiki, Essential Oils, Herbs, Emotional Healing, Iridology, Kinesiology, and Massage. She is an ordained minister and a Reiki Master/Teacher.
Maribeth Zane
Maribeth Zane is a retired RN who graduated from both Emory and Dekalb Universities in Atlanta, Georgia. She enjoys helping our clients determine the best supplements to insure they’ll get healthier and happier. She especially loves getting to practice her Spanish with our Spanish speaking customers. Only four years out of nursing school, in the early 80s, she completed an intensive herbal training program, culminating in her receiving the title, “Herbalist”. Later, she completed another herbal medicine course and eard a “Master Herbalist” standing. Maribeth lives on six acres overlooking Pine Log Mountain with her cat, Otis, and close to her son, daughter-in-law, and grandson. She is the author of the memoir “Into the Fog-This Can’t be God’s Plan”, published in 2017, recounting her amazing story of healing after an accident.
Cindy Bricker
Originally from Ohio, Cindy has been studying herbs and natural health since 1993. She was drawn to natural health after a health issue caused her to desire to heal her body from the inside out. She once owned her own herb and vitamin shop, and is a retired music teacher.
